4. Work is not most important

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, all your mind” This is the most important command (Matthew 22:37-38). Yes, work is an important part of who we are as men, but nothing surpasses the importance of our souls.

Life is too short to hate or avoid work. Today is the day to find-or create-fulfillment in all you do!

3. Work in the areas of your gifts

We all have different gifts, each of which came because of the grace God gave us. Consider that your job may be a means of doing what you really want to - Spending time with family and ministering to others.

2. Work with your whole heart

“In all the work you are doing, work the best you can. Work as if you were doing for the Lord, not for people.” (Colossians 2:33) We lose self-respect and the respect of others when we do a shoddy job at work. Jesus tells us: “You should be the light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in Heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
